يظنون does not mean "are certain," it means "they believe." "Are certain" would be a translation of
يوقنونSheikh Shaarawi, may God bless his soul, once defined the degrees of certainty so well. In his explanation, he mentioned that
الظن is when certainty exceeds doubt. That's what belief is.
So, I suggest,
